Documents
2010 Needs Assessment Vol. 1: Environmental Scan
The environmental scan is a view of our community and service area based on data supplied by a wide range of organizations at the national, state and local levels. The report consists of seven subsections: Demographics; Education; Economic Outlook; Crime; Housing; Life Cycle; and Health Care and Health Access.
2010 Needs Assessment Vol. 2: Needs Survey & Priority Study
The Needs Survey gathers data from three sources:
-
A random sample of residents of the Wichita Metropolitan Statistical Area
(e.g., Sedgwick, Butler, Harvey and Sumner counties) -
Community leaders -- elected and/or appointed government officials and
presidents/chief executive officers from the area's largest businesses - Chief executive officers of social services agencies through the area
The Priority Study is a result of the reviewing needs assessment data to establish priorities for the allocation of United Way resources. This study will assist the United Way Board of Directors and various United Way committees in awareness, planning, funding, coordination and general provision of services to the community.
