The following recognizes the many employees and organizations that support the community through United Way of the Plains.
2012 Spirit of Caring Award Winners
United Way's most prestigious award recognizes organizations for their outstanding community support. Each year a panel of volunteer judges selects recipients based on a combination of the following criteria: percentage of employee giving potential, per capita corporate gift, and level of involvement in United Way activities.
2012 Million Dollar Circle Award
This award recognizes organizations that have contributed one million dollars or more through their combined corporate gift and employee campaigns.
2012 Workplace Campaign Awards
United Way of the Plains appreciates the exceptional participation of the following companies and their employees in the fundraising campaign. These awards are based on company “potential” which is equal to the company’s annual payroll multiplied by .006, which is what could be raised if each employee gave one hour’s pay per month.
2012 Chairman's Circle Award
This award recognizes organizations that contributed gifts of $150,000 to $999,999.
2012 Loaned Executive Program
These organizations supported the Loaned Executive program during the last fundraising campaign. Loaned Executives are employees loaned or sponsored by local organizations to assist with the campaign.
