United Way Volunteer Center supports volunteerism in numerous ways in Sedgwick and surrounding counties.
Youth can get involved with YOUnited Teens.
YOUnited Teens at United Way is a youth-led program designed by youth for youth. The YOUnited Teens program engages high school teens in the local community through volunteerism. A minimum of two projects a month are planned and implemented by YOUnited Teens.
Aaron Joel Smith Memorial Youth Volunteer Scholarship
Each year, the Aaron Joel Smith Memorial Youth Volunteer Scholarship rewards three high school students from Sedgwick, Butler or Sumner County who are active volunteers with United Way of the Plains or nonprofits affiliated with United Way.
